Living For Better Health Challenge

25 Mar 2021

What we are learning from the COVID-19 lockdown:

  1. If we give the air a break from all the pollution it can clear itself.
  2. If we stop polluting the rivers and oceans they can clear themselves.
  3. We are saving money by not going out to eat and not going shopping every weekend, buying endless stuff we will never use.
  4. We are feeling healthier by spending time outside walking, riding bikes and jogging.
  5. We are feeling less stressed when getting out with family or friends to a park or some other place in nature.
  6. Parents are spending time with their children and getting more involved in their education.
  7. Working from home when we can means less stress since we’re not spending an hour or more in traffic.
  8. People are taking up hobbies like music and art or, like me, taking an online course.
  9. Families that live together are eating together.
  10. Families are taking the time to really communicate with their children.

The question is, have some of these changes improved your life? We’ll take a look at the many ways the fast pace of life over the last 100 years has shortened our lifespan and we’ll look at how we can use this time to reverse some of the damage so as to live healthier, longer lives after COVID.

Living for Better Health Challange

22 Mar 2021

I would like to challenge my friends and family to join me in my journey for better health post COVID 2021. We saw many challenges in 2020 — challenges we have never experienced before; however, we also saw some positive things. For example:

  1. The air has cleared.
  2. The Canals of Venice are cleaner.
  3. Many are saving money by not eating out so often.
  4. Time to reevaluate our priorities.
  5. Time to spend with people we love.
  6. Time to catch up on sleep.
  7. Time to try new recipes.
  8. Time to relax.
  9. Time to get off the treadmill of life and take a deep breath.
  10. Time to think about what we want our lives to look like post COVID-19.
